wow…!
Thank you for reading, Toan!
Nicely done! Wow! Thank you! Had similar thoughts about writing something for children on this subject…
Thank you very much, Marianne! It’s really challenging to put together a book in such a short time. Glad we did it and I learned a lot through the process as well. 🙂
Thank you so much for the great job you’ve done! It is such a pleasure to read your book: the theme is relevant, the text is available, the illustrations are cute and colorful. I love it!
I live and work in Russia and I’m wondering whether you planned to add a Russian version of the book or not. I would like to share it with my Russian-speaking students and their parents but most of them don’t speak any of the languages available on the site. Will you give me a permission to translate the book into Russian on my own, or can I ask someone from your publisher for help?
Hi Daria, Thank you for reading and sharing your warm feedback! It’s super encouraging. It’s wonderful that you would like to translate the book into Russian and share it with your students and readers in Russia. I will send you an email with the file. Thank you for reaching out!
What a great book! I am downloading it and printing it out now for the children on my street in Oakland, California, USA. Some of them can read English, but most of them speak Spanish. Do you have any plans to have it translated into Spanish and to make a Spanish version available here? I sure hope so! Let me know if you can’t find a Spanish translator — I know a couple and could ask them if they wanted to help.
Hi Jan, thank you for reading! Glad you enjoyed it! I have an author friend who plans to do the Spanish version. I’ll check with her and if she is too busy I’ll let you know. Thank you for sharing it with more people! We hope the book would make children less anxious at this difficult time.
That’s wonderful, Helen! Will check back in a while for the Spanish version. Meanwhile I’m re-posting this website on my Facebook and Twitter.
Sounds great! Thank you so much for sharing!
I am extremely impressed with your writing skills and also
with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself?
Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a great blog like this one today.
It’s a free theme from Astra and I customized it myself. Thank you very much for your kind words! It’s very encouraging!
This is wonderful, ladies!
Thank you very much, Kaitlyn!
Wonderful! Thanks for writing and illustrating this timely book. I’ve just shared it on my blog and social media sites. Stay healthy!
Thank you Angie for sharing!
I borrowed 3 neighborhood kids to look at this while I read it to them. They liked the story and the pictures. The kids were 5, 7 and 9 and while they enjoyed the story and pictures we had to stop a few times for better explanations of certain words. Ceaselessly-not stopping, vaccine-a medicine to help you fight a disease like the corona 19 and help you to stay well, diagnoses-helps the doctor figure out why you are sick, pharmaceuticals – a place where scientists work to make medicine to make you well. Overall, we all enjoyed the story and the illustrations. Good job girls.
Thank you very much, Carol, for your warm feedback and for sharing your reading experience with us!
Thank you for providing the whole book to read! I liked the book. Thank you for sharing.
All the best,
Lily
