    1. Thank you, Alisa for your comment and kind words! So glad you all enjoyed it. It’s very encouraging for me as an author and illustrator to create more.

    1. Thank you so much Nsah! Your wonderful translation and helping us connect with other translators is beyond awesome! You helped us made all the editions of different languages so the book could reach more parents and children around the world and help them cope with this difficult situation. A big Thank You to you!

  1. Excellent work! The story is clear, engaging and informative. The illustrations are warm and lovely. Thank you for doing your part to help in this global crisis.

    1. You are very welcome! Thank you, Kelly, for your kind words! Glad we made it and so happy to see the wonderful feedback. It’s very encouraging for me as an author and illustrator to keep it up and create more!

    1. My great pleasure. I’m so glad you all enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing your kind feedback! It’s one of the best things an author would hear!

Nicely done! Wow! Thank you! Had similar thoughts about writing something for children on this subject…

    1. Thank you very much, Marianne! It’s really challenging to put together a book in such a short time. Glad we did it and I learned a lot through the process as well. 🙂

  3. Thank you so much for the great job you’ve done! It is such a pleasure to read your book: the theme is relevant, the text is available, the illustrations are cute and colorful. I love it!

I live and work in Russia and I’m wondering whether you planned to add a Russian version of the book or not. I would like to share it with my Russian-speaking students and their parents but most of them don’t speak any of the languages available on the site. Will you give me a permission to translate the book into Russian on my own, or can I ask someone from your publisher for help?

    1. Hi Daria, Thank you for reading and sharing your warm feedback! It’s super encouraging. It’s wonderful that you would like to translate the book into Russian and share it with your students and readers in Russia. I will send you an email with the file. Thank you for reaching out!

  4. What a great book! I am downloading it and printing it out now for the children on my street in Oakland, California, USA. Some of them can read English, but most of them speak Spanish. Do you have any plans to have it translated into Spanish and to make a Spanish version available here? I sure hope so! Let me know if you can’t find a Spanish translator — I know a couple and could ask them if they wanted to help.

    1. Hi Jan, thank you for reading! Glad you enjoyed it! I have an author friend who plans to do the Spanish version. I’ll check with her and if she is too busy I’ll let you know. Thank you for sharing it with more people! We hope the book would make children less anxious at this difficult time.

      1. That’s wonderful, Helen! Will check back in a while for the Spanish version. Meanwhile I’m re-posting this website on my Facebook and Twitter.

  5. I am extremely impressed with your writing skills and also
with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself?
Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a great blog like this one today.

    1. It’s a free theme from Astra and I customized it myself. Thank you very much for your kind words! It’s very encouraging!

Wonderful! Thanks for writing and illustrating this timely book. I’ve just shared it on my blog and social media sites. Stay healthy!

  7. I borrowed 3 neighborhood kids to look at this while I read it to them. They liked the story and the pictures. The kids were 5, 7 and 9 and while they enjoyed the story and pictures we had to stop a few times for better explanations of certain words. Ceaselessly-not stopping, vaccine-a medicine to help you fight a disease like the corona 19 and help you to stay well, diagnoses-helps the doctor figure out why you are sick, pharmaceuticals – a place where scientists work to make medicine to make you well. Overall, we all enjoyed the story and the illustrations. Good job girls.

  8. I love the book that you wrote. I am an English teacher in a public school here in the Philippines. I would just like to ask if you will permit me to use all the pages of this book for our module so I can discuss this with my Grade 3 students. Rest assured that if you will allow me to do so, attribution will be done, including the original link and your name as the author. These modules are not for sale and will solely be used for educational purposes. I will wait for your reply. Thank you so much and stay wonderful!

    1. Hi Angela, thank you for reaching out. Sure, you can use this book for your module and I’m glad you’d like to share this book with your students. Thank you and stay safe!
